Barabash won the stayers' handicap



CPI Property Group Raceday was the fiftheenth part of the metropolitan horse racing season at Prague-Velká Chuchle racecourse and CPI Property Group Handicap (13f, 120 ths. CZK) for 3yo and up stayers was the highlight of the schedule with number of nine races.

3yo colt Barabash, who finished third in Czech St Leger Stakes a month ago, was the 7:10-favourite of the main race and won by two and quarter lenghts ahead of Arlington, with Mystic Golfer third. Barabash is owned by Mr. Karel Jalový (Lokotrans stable), trained by Luboš Urbánek and was ridden by jockey Jan Rája.

Apprentice rider David Liška won two other races of the day and leads the current jockeys' championship by seven wins now.
