Christophe Soumillon won the European Jockeys' Cup



On Saturday, September 28, the fifth year of the spectacular raceday, with twelve jockeys from ten countries, the Leram European Jockey Cup, took place at the Chuchle Arena Prague. His biggest star was one of the world's best jockeys, Belgian native Christophe Soumillon, who also won the final ranking and the Cup for the winner. Dutch Adrie de Vries placed second and Eduardo Pedroza from Panama was the third.

Christophe Soumillon, winner of more than 3,500 races, rode five races of the program, he won twice (BAK EJC 83th Dr. Gesrch Memorial Stakes for 2yos with Rate and Lokotrans EJC Middle aboard Wireless), once finished third and with 24 points he became the winner of the cup scoring. The second with 22 points was Adrie de Vries, who reached two wins (one of them on Monpti in Pemat Trading EJC Long - Czech turf Stakes) too and one fourth place. Eduardo Pedroza stepped to the bronze podium, he won main race of the day (Leram EJC Million with Zock), placed second in the final race and wrote 16 points. Per-Anders Graberg from Sweden placed fourth with 14 points and Václav Janáček, the most successful of the Czech jockeys tri, placed fifth with 13 points.
