On Sunday, May 16, this year's season in the Chuchle Arena Prague continued on the second raceday, unfortunately, like the April premiere, it had to take place without spectators. The attractive program showed three Class A races and culminated in the jubilee 100th year of the Czech 2000 Guineas (CZ listed, 1m, CZK 600 ths. CZK, 3yo c+f).

The first part of the Classic Triple Crown was won, after an ideal course of the race, by April's maiden winner, progressive colt Royal Word (j. Palík, tr. Šavujev, own./bred. Valentin Bukhtoyarov), a one and quarter lenght of Vert Liberte with Mandarin third.

Top older mid-distance horses ran in 72nd May Stakes (Class A, 1m, 135 ths. CZK, 4+yo) and mile-champion, 5yo grey gelding Ignacius Reilly (j. Foret, tr. Luka, own. Syndikát V3J) won easily by three and half lenghts, reached the fourth win in carrer and also at Prague's track.

JUDr. Otakar Frankenberger Memorial Stakes (Class A, 1m 3f, 135 ths. CZK, 3yo) takes place six weeks before the Czech Derby and it is the first important trial for czech blue riband. The position of ante post favourite got Hazarder (j. Verner, tr. Tůma, own. Dr. Charvát), who ran only the third lifetime race and, after December's win in Pisa, achieved the second win.

Jockey Petr Foret and trainer Václav Luka won two races of the schedule.
