Great field in April Stakes



The racing season at Chuchle Arena Prague continues this time on Good Friday, April 15, when visitors can look forward not only to eight exciting races, but also to a rich accompanying program for children and adults. The highlight of the afternoon will be the excellently 64th April Stakes, which dozen top midfield-horses. The first race starts at 2 pm, the racecourse will be opened two hours earlier.

Twelve horses were entered to 64th April Stakes (Class A, 9f, 150 ths. CZK, 4yo+), at least half of which can really think of winning. Among the favorites are the winner of last year's EJC Middle Australien (j. Laube), silver and bronze from last year's April Stakes Zariyannka (j. Radek Koplík) and Torque Power (j. Línek), the winner of last year's Slovak derby Rabbit Red Jazz (j. Zatloukal) and the easy winner of last year's Summer Stakes Cape Freedom (Charvát).

also in other races will be introduced well-known horses (e. g. Slovak Triplecrown holder (2019) Arcturus, Czech Turf Stakes winner (2018) Rousse, or Cacophonous, placed in Gr.1 race in Paris Prix du Cadran (2020).

After less than two weeks, the Swiss female jockey Sibylle Vogt will return to Prague to atack for her first Czech victory again and for the first time this year, the Belgian leading jockey Koen Clijmans will come to Prague too.

There is a rich accompanying Easter program: it will include sales stands with Easter assortment, for children creative workshops, face painting or demonstrations of rabbit jumping.
