Start of the racing season with an international cast!

On Sunday, April 3, the gates of the Chuchle Arena Prague will open to spectators for the first time this year and a new racing season will begin. The first of the eight races will start at 2 pm, the racecourse will be open two hours earlier.

The highlight of the schedule will be the 95th Tipsport Gomba handicap, which traditionally opens the Czech racing season. Nine horses from three countries are heading for his start, in addition to seven representatives of the home stables, the Austrian Beau Massagot and the Slovak Gentleman Jack will start. Last year's winners of the Class A races, Jir Sun and Worth Choice, lead the domestic team, and the medal placements from the last two years will then be defended by the reliable Manoamano.
The Sundays' cards also promise an unusually attractive riding cast. After a one-year break, the jockey-champion of 2018 and one of the greatest riding talents of recent years, David Liška, will return to the saddle, against him and other best Czech jockeys a number of interesant foreign riders will perform: top-class female jockey from Switzerland Sibylle Vogt, historically the best Slovak jockey and the current leader of the German championship Jozef Bojko, ten-time champion of Slovakia Jaroslav Línek, or champion of Slovakia (2014) and Poland (2017) Michal Abík. For the first time in Prague the German Leon Wolff, the Belgian Kobe Vanderbeke and also the Turkish native Tolga Koyuncu will ride.

The fact that admission prices for this season have remained at last year's level is undoubtedly favorable information. In addition to children under the age of 15, disabled persons and soldiers of Czech Army in uniform have free admission.

Under the organisation of the Czech Jockey Club, an evaluation of the best players of the 2021 racing season will take place in a small betting hall above the paddock after the end of the race day (approximately at 6 pm), it will be open to the public.
